Ledger® Live - Wallet

Ledger Live is the official companion application for Ledger hardware wallets, designed to manage and securely store cryptocurrencies.

Getting Started with Ledger Live

1. Downloading Ledger Live

   • Visit the Official Ledger Website: Go to the official Ledger website at ledger.com.

   • Download Ledger Live: Navigate to the "Downloads" section or directly access the download page for Ledger Live.

   • Select Your Platform: Choose the version of Ledger Live compatible with your operating system (Windows, macOS, Linux).

2. Installing Ledger Live

   • Windows: Once downloaded, double-click on the installer file (.exe) and follow the on-screen instructions to install Ledger Live.

   • MacOS: Open the downloaded .dmg file, drag and drop the Ledger Live application into the Applications folder.

   • Linux: Follow the installation instructions provided for your specific Linux distribution.

3. Setting Up Your Ledger Hardware Wallet

   • Connect Your Ledger Device: Use the USB cable provided to connect your Ledger hardware wallet to your computer.

   • Power On Your Device: Ensure your Ledger device is powered on and follow any on-screen prompts to initialize it.

4. Initializing Your Ledger Device

   • Creating a New Wallet: If setting up for the first time, Ledger Live will guide you through the process of creating a new wallet on your Ledger device.

   • Recovering an Existing Wallet: If you already have a Ledger device with an existing wallet, you can recover it using your recovery phrase.
